HD Laboratories staff has a wide range of business and engineering experience. Their backgrounds include electrical engineering, NDT (Nondestructive Testing), and imaging. Principal officers are:
THOMAS J. DAVIS, MS (Electrical Engineering), P.E., President. Mr. Davis has over 40 years of experience in research and development, NDT, and electronic engineering. He also has background in analysis of electrical/electronic failures. Mr. Davis is an inventor on 17 patents. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing, and he held ASNT Level III certification in both ultrasonic and eddy current testing for over 40 years.
B. PERCY HILDEBRAND, Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering), P.E., Vice President and Chief Scientist. Dr. Hildebrand has spent his career in development of new NDT methods and advanced imaging systems. These include ultrasonic and electromagnetic NDT, holographic imaging, synthetic-aperture imaging, and side-looking radar. Additional specialties include acoustic underground mapping, ultrasonic viewing systems, and stress analysis with NDT. Dr. Hildebrand holds or co-holds 17 patents. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a Fellow of the Optical Society of America.
