HD Laboratories has developed an advanced pipe coating inspection system using electromagnetic NDT technology. The system was developed for a major oil company. It uses above-ground sensors, and is intended to detect and characterize the following coating defects;
- Disbonds
- Disbond Fill Type (air, water, or corrosion product)
- Holidays
- Microcracking
